Meet Callum Gray - General Manager
Meet Callum Ian Cranston Gray, the General Manager of
Grotto Ristorante on Westheimer by the Galleria. Growing up as the son of a diplomat, Gray traveled through Europe where he experienced diverse cultures and vibrant cuisine. His journey in the restaurant industry began in Chicago where he worked at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield for six years.
After relocating to Houston, Gray began his long career at
Grotto Ristorante, where he is now the General Manager. His philosophy on hospitality focuses on building personal relationships with guests, while also serving the highest quality food and beverages for an unforgettable experience.
Meet Ricky Cruz - Executive Chef
Meet Chef Ricky Cruz, the Executive Chef of Grotto Ristorante on Westheimer by the Galleria. A born chef, he fell in love with his mother’s spaghetti meat sauce which lead to his love for Italian food and cooking. He has traveled to Italy and has brought back new ideas to share with his guests at Grotto Ristorante.
Chef Cruz loves seafood, particular Chilean Seabass, for its high quality, texture, and flavor. Chef Cruz’s philosophy for cooking is to make sure each dish is cooked to perfection with the best presentation. He is a true leader in his kitchen and restaurant. He is creative in his style of cooking and not afraid to teach others. When he is not cooking he like to run outdoors and participate in marathons.
